Who I help

I work with adults and adolescents experiencing difficulties such as persistent worry, low mood, intrusive thoughts and compulsions, emotional overwhelm, and painful patterns in relationships.

You may be struggling with attachment anxiety, loneliness, a life transition, or uncertainty about your direction. Therapy offers space to understand these experiences and work towards meaningful change.

Where clients can be located

I am based in Israel and offer online therapy in English to clients physically located in the United Kingdom. In-person appointments are available in Israel.

When enquiring, please include your country and, for UK clients, whether you are in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. We will confirm suitability and appointment arrangements before starting therapy. If you are elsewhere, please enquire about availability for your location.

Session length and availability

Sessions last 50 minutes. Appointments are available by booking in advance. Please contact me to arrange a suitable appointment time.

Treatment methods:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Therapy focused on understanding the connection between thoughts and beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. It helps identify and change harmful patterns and develop practical tools for coping with anxiety, depression, and other difficulties in everyday life.

Psychodynamic Therapy

An approach focused on understanding the inner dynamics of relationships and past connections that affect how we function in the present, with the aim of reaching insights and raising awareness of unconscious content. Through this work we can better understand our emotions today and improve the ways we choose to act, so that the personal, family, and professional lives of clients become more balanced and fulfilling.

In addition to his clinical work, Hatem is passionate about research as a way to build knowledge and apply evidence-based clinical practice. He also works in statistical consulting and research methodology, providing statistical analyses and courses in statistics and research methods for quantitative studies. More information on this topic can be found on the Statisticaia website.
